Background Information | The antigen-specific T cell receptor (TCR) is composed of either α and β subunit, or γ and δ subunit. Majority of T cells present in the blood, lymph and secondary lymphoid organs express TCR α/β heterodimers, whereas the T cells expressing TCR γ/δ heterodimers are localized mainly in epithelial tissues and at the sites of infection. The subunits of TCR heterodimers are covalently bonded and in the endoplasmic reticulum they associate with CD3 subunits to form functional TCR-CD3 complex. Lack of expression of any of the chains is sufficient to stop cell surface expression. |
Usage | The reagent is designed for indirect immunofluorescence analysis by Flow Cytometry. Suggested working usage is 3.3·µg/ml. Indicated dilution is recommended starting point for use of this product, but working concentrations should be validated by the investigator. |
Storage Buffer | The reagent is provided in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) solution, pH ≈7.4, containing 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide. |
Storage | Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Store in the dark at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. |
Stability | Do not use after expiration date stamped on vial label. |
